The Van-Es Camp & Conference Centre is the perfect
place to meet the needs of those organizing conferences, courses, retreats,
workshops, reunions, birthday parties and weddings.
Lord, we pray for all who are fighting against
the spreading of the virus, especially for all victims of the virus,
for the sick, and for all nurses, doctors and other medical staff
working in the hospitals. We pray for the scientists working on finding
vaccines and other medical solutions to the virus, and for peace and
stability in all countries.
The Van-Es Camp & Conference Centre has modern banquet facilities,
conference and meeting rooms (with hi-speed Internet access), indoor
swimming pool and hot tub, historic chapel, and wonderful grounds with
miles of nature trails.
Our Unity Lodge features 12 semi-private bedrooms, each with their
own bathroom. It sleeps 28 and is wheelchair accessible. There is a
common area with a fireplace, kitchen, and an adjacent meeting room.
We have used triple pane windows, LED lighting, and in-floor heating.
The Harmony Centre is ideal for your meeting and seminar needs. Our
Morning Star Hall is well-equipped to host up to 175 people for day
conferences. We offer a number of menus for catered meals for breakfast,
lunch, and dinner, even banquets. Our pool is great for aquafit classes
and swimming lessons. And our chapel and grounds are an ideal place
to hold your wedding.
Located just 20 minutes southeast of Edmonton on South Cooking Lake,
the Van-Es Camp and Conference Centre is located on 100 acres of secluded
wooded land.
Modern and rustic cabins for around 65 people are also available for
overnight accommodation year-round. Camp trailer and motor home accommodation
with electrical hook up and space for tenting are also available.

Van Es 80th Anniversary
Labour Day Weekend - September 3 to 6
Mark your calendars for a celebration of 80 years of Van Es. You are
invited to stay the weekend in a room in Unity, a cabin, an RV spot
or drop in for an event or a day. Accommodations and food are offered

On Saturday, September 4 we will focus on the community and feature
the following:
- swimming
- mini-quilt show
- historical displays
- music throughout the day
- introductory Spiritual Direction sessions offered by Rev. Rick Beck
- a BBQ
- evening concert with Amy Bishop, award-winning rock, blues and Christian
performer.
- Sunday will have a church focus with:
- early afternoon worship
- concert
- 80th Anniversary dinner
